I’ve been testing my ChatGPT Plus alongside Gemini Pro on tough technical troubleshooting questions. To my surprise, ChatGPT’s “Thinking” mode kept delivering spot‑on answers, steering me toward real solutions, while Gemini often spiraled into wild hallucinations. The consistency of ChatGPT felt refreshingly reliable, especially since Gemini’s benchmark scores suggest it should be the stronger model.

I asked Gemini to estimate my business’s valuation, hoping for a helpful number, but it just hallucinated the wildest figures and presented them as if they were legit. The response was bafflingly random, and I could feel the frustration building as I realized the tool was basically pulling nonsense out of thin air. It left me annoyed and unsure whether I could trust its answers at all.
I tried opening a picture in my chat on the ProPlan, but it just hangs forever. The tool never displays the image and keeps thinking, which is really annoying and makes the conversation useless. I feel stuck and frustrated because I can’t even view simple media anymore.
I tried using Gemini 3 and quickly ran into serious context degradation. The model kept forgetting earlier parts of the conversation, which made the responses feel disjointed and often irrelevant. I was frustrated watching it lose track of the discussion, especially after spending time setting up the prompt. The experience was disappointing and hampered my workflow.

I tried using Gemini to reformat a long document, expecting it to preserve all the content, but the model kept chopping it down to a much shorter version. It barely kept the main points, leaving out details I needed. The contrast with Claude, which maintained the full depth, was stark and left me feeling irritated and let down by Gemini’s limitations.
I’ve been trying to use Gemini on the web for ages, but it won’t see any images I upload. Even after sending a file or pasting over a thousand words, it just acts blind. It makes the subscription feel pointless, and every time I hit a roadblock I get more frustrated because there’s no fix in sight.
