I tried to get Gemini to help me set up my home network, but it just spouted the generic “something went wrong” error every time I asked about hardware firewalls or networking gear. Strangely, it still answered whimsical questions about unicorns and rainbows without a hitch. It’s never acted like this before, and the inconsistency left me feeling irritated and blocked from finishing my setup.

I’ve been using Gemini Pro for six months without a hitch, but lately the model has totally slumped. Simple coding prompts that used to work now return half‑baked answers, and it flat‑out refuses basic tasks. On top of that, all the extra tools—GitHub import, nanobanna image generation, VEO video creation, deep research—have vanished, leaving only the canvas and file upload. The sudden loss of functionality is incredibly frustrating.

I came across Canva's AI and was instantly unsettled—its outputs felt ominously unpredictable and even a bit menacing. I couldn't shake the feeling that the tool was overstepping, producing results that seemed dangerous or ethically questionable. The whole experience left me anxious and wary of using it, fearing it could cause real problems if unchecked.

I’ve been using Nano Banana for a while now to bring old family photos back to life, and it keeps blowing me away. Every time I feed in a faded picture, the model restores details I thought were lost forever. The results look crisp and natural, and I’m consistently impressed that it outperforms the other tools I’ve tried. This reliability makes my restoration projects feel effortless and rewarding.

I tried using Gemini Chat and kept hitting glitchy animation when I scrolled, which made the whole experience feel broken. Whenever I generated an image, the toggle button vanished unless I started a new chat, and the web kept spawning duplicate histories for a single conversation. Features that work on the web are missing on mobile, the editor shows two text boxes for no reason, I still can’t create gems, and there’s no easy way to regenerate a chat. All these problems left me frustrated and doubtful it will ever catch up to AI Studio.
